Comic Strip About Depression and How to Overcome It

Disclaimer: This comic strip is not my artworks. Credit to the creator!

Back in 2014, I saw this comic strip by chance. I thought that this comic had a very meaningful meaning. Not long after that, I found out that one of my friends had a serious illness. Me and my other friends knew that she didn’t have the best family in the world and she might suffer alone all that time.

We wanted to give her encouragement for battling her illness. Suddenly, I remembered this comic and showed it to my other friends. They also liked this comic and we thought that this comic could convey what we felt about her.

For anyone who had read this comic before, you must have known that it was a very long comic strip. I cut the long strip and made them into three smaller stripes so that the comic could be printed as a poster on A3 paper. There was a small space below the comic where we could give additional encouraging words to her.

Here is the comic that was already cut into three smaller stripes:

Sorry, I didn’t put the exact poster that was given to her for privacy reasons. What we did might be small but we really hoped that we could reach her and let her know that she wasn’t alone.

Through her persistence and her strong desire to recover, she recovered from her illness and she is healthy now. :')
